More eggs

This morning I got up, got ready and grabbed the big dog crate from the barn and went off to work.  After work I drove to Howell to pick up this Muscovy duck.  It was way in a scary part and I sort of felt like I was heading into a bad horror movie.  Well the guy I was supposed to meet at his house had a horse show so I was supposed to meet his mom.  Well I get there and knock on the door three times.  The screen door was locked, I was going to open it and knock on the inside door but I couldn't.  The house was all dark and it seemed like nobody was home.  So I felt like I was basically stood up at the persons house, how ridiculous is that?  So I sent him a text saying I knocked and waited there for about 20 minutes.  He then asks me if I had tried to call his mom, which was weird that he had even gave me his mom's cell phone, his dad's cell phone and his house phone numbers.  Oh well I guess if we really want a Muscovy duck we will hatch them ourselves.  So I just drove all that way for nothing and now my blue trailblazer looks brown.

On a good note we got the last batch of eggs we ordered today.  However I was a little upset that so many eggs were cracked.  I don't think we will be ordering from him again.  They were bubble wrapped but the ends were not so quite a few them were cracked and so they had to be thrown away.  I was silly and apologized to all the eggs for not making it to a little chick. We have 5, 6, and 7 days until we know if the eggs are fertile.  I can't wait to see if the baby chicks are growing or not.

Here are a few pictures:

The last batch of eggs

Some yolk leakage

One cracked egg, just a small crack but it won't hatch

A little bit larger crack in this egg

This one had a large hole that leaked quite a bit on the other eggs

This little one brought a little bit of Mommy with him lol

Another cracked one

This one had a good size hole in it

The third batch in their incubator with O's up

One of the eggs out of the first batch.  This is what happened when it had a small crack and I put it in the incubator anyway.  The crack got bigger
